A Special Connection

You may have already had the pleasure to see that Dr. Onno and Dr. Wrinch work well together and have similar treatment philosophies, but perhaps you did not know that these two dentists have known each other for a very long time. Here is the story:

In 1988, Eha and Jane met for the first time on their first day of dental school at the University of British Columbia. Eha had just finished the intellectual challenge of completing a bachelor of science degree in pharmacology (the study of drugs), and Jane had just completed her 3rd year working towards a bachelor of science degree in botany (physiology and taxonomy of plants). There were only eight women in their class of 40. Many of the dental school classes were organized in such a way, that the students sat in alphabetical order. As such, Eha and Jane did not have much contact. In addition, Jane is left-handed, and so was banished to a corner of the student clinic, where all the left-handed students worked together. At the end of dental school, Eha and Jane said their good-byes and wished each other well.

After having lost contact for a number of years (life, busy life), Eha and Jane had the pleasure to re-kindle their friendship at dental function held in Victoria. Eha had decided to relocate to the island and escape the traffic and craziness of Vancouver. She wanted to find a practice where she would be happy treating patients in a progressive and relaxed environment. It seemed like a great match for Eha to join the Dogwood Family Dentistry team in the fall of 2014. You never know who you will meet again as life unfolds...
