Office Policies

All general dentistry treatments are provided, including care to very young children and seniors. All radiographs (x-rays) are taken using low radiation digital radiography systems. The computerized record keeping allows us to provide a highly efficient and patient-friendly workplace. In addition, the computerized environment provides an ideal environment to better educate patients in all aspects of dental care. Sedation is available based on need. A qualified anaesthetist is routinely available for service.

Our Fees

Our fees are based on the current year schedule provided by the British Columbia College of Dental Surgeons, with an additional added 15%.  This additional cost has been added to cover the office expenses incurred by the recent need for personal protection equipment (PPE) as well as the fogging procedures and air purifiers. Although the BC College does provide a special PPE fee, we have chosen to just add to the general fees, to make things as uncomplicated as possible for our patients.  Unless prior arrangements are made, we ask that the all services rendered are to be paid in full on the day of treatment. VISA, Mastercard, American Express and debit cards are accepted.

Appointments

As a courtesy to our patients, we offer to confirm appointments via text, email or phone call. Just let us know your preference! In return, we ask for at least 48 hours (two business days) notice for cancellations or change. Charges may be made for repeat missed appointments, short notice changes or cancellations.

Insurance

While we will process your dental insurance claim forms, and we will always inform you to the best of our knowledge what your insurance will cover, it should be appreciated that various plans differ in their coverage. It should be noted that some insurance plans will not provide any information to the dentist and her office regarding patient coverage. Full payment is the patient's ultimate responsibility.

Office Hours

We will endeavor to provide office hours most convenient to our patients. Dr. Wrinch and Dr. Rankin may be contacted by patients of the practice, outside of office hours for dental emergencies. We offer appointments six days per week, starting from 7 am to 5 pm (depending on the day).
